The DIH4AI project aims at building a network of AI-on-demand innovation and collaboration platforms, supporting joint development and provision of ecosystem-business-technology-transformation services through a sustainable network of regional DIHs specialized in AI and targeting local SMEs and local tech governmental agencies.

DIH-World aims to accelerate the uptake of advanced digital technologies by European manufacturing SMEs in all sectors and support them in building sustainable competitive advantages and reaching global markets strengthening the capacities of regional DIHs, particularly in underrepresented regions across Europe.

Goals

COGNINTEL application experiment aims to deploy an AI-based decision making and control platform tailored to the machine tools industry to optimize their operations by enabling a holistic and intelligent Quality, Energy and Maintenance Management (QEM) approach.

It provides users and plant managers with the right tools to implement cognitive production by ensuring high production efficiency, and high quality, minimising the use of resources while optimising maintenance strategies, avoiding safety-related failures and minimizing process downtime.

AI DIH Network (Past)

Goals

The European Commission and the European Parliament launched a preparatory action to create a European Network of 30 Digital Innovation Hubs with a focus on AI. The action – managed by PwC, in consortium with CARSA and Innovalia – is intended to develop a structured cooperation approach among DIHs, create a European Network of Digital Innovation Hubs with a focus on AI, and provide policy recommendations for enhancing DIHs’ collaboration.

Results

The AI DIH Network project involved 30 DIHs from 20 different countries in a coaching and mentoring programme centred on cooperation, including face-to-face collaborative workshops, a peer-learning online programme and webinar training sessions, with remote and on-site support of individual tutors.

DIH CIIRC aims to, together with further partners, to become EDIH CTU.
